Review: This is a very calming herbal powder - Ashwaganda is amazing, I take a 1/2 tsp, 1/4 Turmeric, 1/4 Ginger, coconut milk, whole orange, 1/2 banana, 1/4 tsp nut butter of whatever I have in pantry, 1/4 pumpkin powder and blend for my nightly smoothie about an 60-90 mins before bed and take Magnesium Glycinate. All ingredients are from this site. I notice the sleep is heavy and restful, wake up calm and stay calm all day. My muscles are toned and pumped, with little exercise but do walk daily 5-7 miles for work and pleasure. I am 63, very stamina still with nightly erections like my early days. In the morning I change it up, 3/4 tsp Beet root powder, 1/2-3/4 tsp Moringa Powder, Blueberry Powder 1/2 tsp orange, 1/2 banana, coconut milk plus 1000mg Black seed oil suppliment, NAC 600mg, Vita DK2, and lactobacilus salivaria after brushing my teeth. This seems to be my current magic cure. No alcohol is a good idea it keeps you healthier.

**Q: What % of withanolides does this ashwagandha powder (from Organic Spice Resource) have?**
A: Hi. Honestly, I forget what it does, I think it's for energy. I mix it in with a lot of other powders, in a smoothie, and I hope for the best. I have to say after a few months of drinking my smoothies with all the powders - including Ashwagandha root powder - I'm starting to feel like I have more energy. I've looked it up on line but that was weeks ago and I've forgotten.

**Q: Is this tested for heavy metals and if so can you post the report?**
A: Yes, it is tested for heavy metals, prepared and packed in an organic manufacturing facility approved by the USDA. Following is the results:

A: short answer:
If "Their" 1/2 tsp = 2g then use 2g (get a gram or microgram scale cheap one is fine)

Long Answer:
/2 tsp of what? , a tsp is a volumetric measure and relies upon the specific gravity of a substance to determine its weight...

in other words, the world's best baker can not get the same weight of flour in a cup twice in a row, (think density) so the best answer is to measure by weight... 

if the dosage says "X" volume = "Y" Weight always go with the weight... because it is a known factor

**Q: How many mg are in each recommended dose?**
A: 2 grams in a recommended dose,which comes out to approx 1/2 teaspoon (if you don't have a scale). There are 550 "doses" or servings in the 1 pound (16 oz) bag. 

Just to address the previous answer to this question, please be very careful with herbs. You can overdose and you can harm yourself. I've seen it happen. Many people think that because they're plants and because they're natural that they are not potent and cannot be dangerous if not used properly.
