I would think so. Cast iron is awesome like that **Q: Can this be used on a cooking range/direct heat?** A: Yes it can. I like to start a dish on the stove top then put in the oven to finish. You can also use on a grill. **Q: How thick is it?** A: It’s roughly about 5/16 of an inch thick. It’s very durable and we love it. We have the former style Lodge pizza stone as well, we love both. They both provide us with performance that we have come to expect from all of our Lodge products! **Q: Will this work for crepes?** A: No, this will not work for crepes. Technically, you can make a crepe on it, but... a crepe requires a lighter pan, preferably teflon, and ability to flick it to toss crepe and reverse. Too heavy for that, handles all wrong, and no lip. Crepe requires a rolling motion to coat the pan, and a lip to keep batter from spilling - cannot do that here. Wrong shape of pan. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lodge Cast Iron Pizza Pan, 15 inch - Lodge Silicone Grips - Dishwasher Safe Silicone Grips Designed Bakeware Products Only - Reusable Heat Protection Up to 425Β° - Red - Lodge 15.5"x10.5" Cast Iron Baking Pan, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/329962967-lodge-pre-seasoned-cast-iron-pizza-pan-pfas-free-15](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/329962967-lodge-pre-seasoned-cast-iron-pizza-pan-pfas-free-15) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
