I was using this to sight in my .308. It does not provide enough stability through the entire action of the shot. I was not able to put groupings together that I was able to in the past. This made me doubt my scope mount, the new ammo I was trying out, and just doubt my own shooting. When I got a great deal on a set of extra large sandbags I was able to put three shots together again with no problem at different magnifications.
