While I'm not really a fan of how the plastic case adds a very small amount of extra size to the watch, it does a much better job protecting it, than say an adhesive screen guard alone. In fact, it even protects the side buttons as well. He's constantly smacking his wrist against things, and his protective case is now broken, but fortunately, there are two in the pack. The touch screen works perfectly fine still, even with the cracked screen guard still on it. It snaps firmly into place, and is nice and solid. No worries about it coming off accidentally! Yes they make the watch a little bulkier but given that they are worn by a 3, 5, and 10 year old they save my sanity for not breaking. In the photos the rainbow watch has the case on while the pink one does not.
