I own a Master Series Sony TV which has a flush surface mount stand. Unfortunately, this means that if you want to add a Soundbar it will obscure the lower part of the screen. For this reason i purchased the stand and mounted my TV to it, then placed the stand behind the unit my TV had previously sat on. This gives the impression of the TV being wall mounted but also lifts it enough to allow a soundbar to sit underneath. It works exactly as i had hoped and I’m very pleased with the results.
