After a couple of visits to the podiatrist, he informed me there was nothing else he could do for me except a cortisone shot so I suffered through the pain. The podiatrist wrapped my ankle a couple of times which helped a lot, but the wrapping would last only a few days. A couple of months ago, I developed the same issue in the other leg as well. I have searched for a specific kind of wrap that would mimic the wrapping by the podiatrist and this popped up. I have used it a few days now and am extremely happy with the relief I feel when wearing it. I am hoping, over time, the tendon will heal to the point I no longer need to wear the wrap, but if not, I can live with these. They can be worn with sandals or shoes or just by themselves around the house.
