**Q: what is the max extended lenght?**
A: Overall Length8 to 53"

**Q: what is it made out of?**
A: strong thick pliable plastic coiled

**Q: Does it stretch out after you start using it?**
A: It maintains its elasticity, because I have walk off from a pallet and it gets caught and I have stretched it 5 feet and it goes right back.  The only problem i have had and it's easily fixable is that the string that attaches to (say a box cutter) will break but you can tie it back with more string or twine.  Hope thus helps. It's worth the money.

**Q: Do you have blade sharpeners**
A: There are no blade sharpeners that I am aware of. If both sides of the blade gets dull you will have to put in a new blade, which they do sell by the box on here.
