Would be stored in garage...** A: I have had mine quite a few months now used a reasonable amount - very good pull saw With regard to rusting - mine is stored in an unheated garage and does not show any sign of rusting I do however rub the metal with Liberon Lubricating Wax - used this for years - really does do the trick **Q: Can you buy spare blades for this saw** A: Yes you can buy spare blades for SUIZAN ryobi 240mm hand saw . **Q: Will this fit other brands? I have an Augusta ryoba and in need of a replacement blade** A: I'm not really sure. But I can't imagine there being much of a be difference **Q: Has anyone experience in sharpening it?** A: I read on one of the woodworking forums of someone who had sharpened a Japanese pull saw but found it a difficult experience. Japanese steel as used on these saws is extremely durable often reported to offer a five year plus life. If it has hardened teeth then it will last even longer (these can’t be sharpened).
