Review: Good product. - Installation is a bit of a pain when there isn't much clearance to the ceiling, but not terrible. Took like 35 mins. Seemed to work ok for 6 months or so, (installed Dec 22, 2022). Then I started noticing the light would be on when no one was in that room or would be on late at night starting around June 2023. Changed batteries in the remote and removed the battery at one point ( so it wasn't the remote) and every couple of days, the light or the fan or both would go on by itself. Must be an issue with a defective control module. Will have to replace at some point again. Doesn't inspire great confidence in the quality of the product. UPDATE 9/18/23: Customer service contacted me within 12 hours of this review going live and offered a full refund. I gave them one star back for promptly replying and an additional star back for offering the full refund. I will try resetting the channel on the remote and module this week to see if there is interference with a neighbor's remote as per their suggestion and update again in the future. UPDATE 3-11-25: Changed channel and unit is working fine for over a year now. Very good customer service. None of my neighbors have this brand of light or fan, but maybe a different brand remote was affecting my unit. No issues since.

After my late, Aunt passed away. I got her old ceiling fan from her apartment and the old original remote to it which looks exactly like this one was original to it from 2006 and I needed a replacement. This thing works perfectly. It honestly is amazing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works right out of the box - would get again

Thankfully, most fans have standardized color coded wiring these days, so was easy to know how to install this new receiver to the existing ceiling fan. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Only concern is that the unit was a little bigger than the unit it replaced, so was hard for me to manipulate/stow the wires. One of the wires ended up having to stick out the top of the fans decorative cap, but that is OK. it is high enough on the patio not to notice. Only gripe is that I wish the receiver wire leads were a couple of inches longer. This was an outdoor high patio ceiling fan, so was working quite a ways above my head. Was hard to get the wire nuts attached to such short leads.
