I can confirm it is pet safe (after my immunocompromised cat accidentally got some on him, washed himself, and was fine before I even smelled it on him) AND it actually kills numerous kinds of bugs. Within seconds! I’d say the average time is about 15-20 seconds but it immediately injures insects (so they don’t fly/jump/crawl away before you can get them again) which is GREAT. Cockroaches, spiders, flies, ants, this works on all of them the same. My ONLY drawback is that it is oil-based so if you use it on the floor you’re going to want to clean it afterwards or be aware of how it would affect your paint/granite/wood floors if left there in excess. But I will say if you are able to leave some of it (or just lightly spray an area) it VERY effectively prevents further insects in that area for I would say approximately 3-5 weeks at a time. The only draw back is the sprayers would break, making it so that I had to force the bottles open to transfer the contents into a spritzer bottle.
