I was worried the seams would irritate the incision areas, especially the underarm but I had no problem at all. The seams are soft and not bulging or thick. The clasp around the ribs had 3 options for the best fit. I was surprised how comfortable it actually is, even when wearing it 22 hours a day. I hand wash it in the sink and it dries very quickly. The only negative I found was the edge of the hook and eye area had hard corners. A few quick swipes of a nail file softened it without any damage to the fabric. I will be ordering another one or two in the nude color for easier rotation. It is suggested I wear a compression for 4-6 weeks. Great compression, yet comfortable. I chose a medium which is true to my size, and it was the right fit! My only suggestion to the designers is to start the arm seam at the top corner of the shoulder and run down to the top of the forearm instead of starting at the armpit.
