They seen to spread quite well. In the 3 years we have been here they have gone from a few Square inches to an area about 16 inches in diameter. That was the reason I planted more. They are quite expensive at amazon and after hunting around I found a much better deal at Ebay. **Q: when do they turn pink?** A: Looks like never. **Q: For outdoor, how does it hold up in the winter.
