I unboxed them and was fairly pleased with the quality but before I could screw the tops on the base, it was time to leave for dinner. Upon returning home I attempted for 5 minutes to get the screws to go into the base. After trying two of the three cake stands to screw together with no joy, I was resigned to boxing them up and returning. Finally I put my glasses on and looked at the screw carefully and dang if there wasn’t a rubber protecter on it! Amazing how quickly they were assembled once those three things were removed. The metal is thin and they’re very lightweight (I’m ok with that), the craftsmanship is okay (see pictures), and the proportions are nice. They’re perfect for adding height to a buffet table, and they’re good for personal home use.
