For me Hangsun is more efficient in "steaming". It has honestly been a lifesaver and has made ironing and getting clothes ready so much easier. It’s quick, easy to use, and works really well. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made — highly recommend! Steam output and no noise . Very safety and very good durability ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy steamer and very light *by V***A on 17 August 2026* I really like this garment steamer. It heats up quickly and is very easy to use. It removes creases well, especially when I just need to freshen up clothes quickly without getting the ironing board out. It’s lightweight and convenient to hold, and doesn’t take up much space. Very handy for everyday use and travelling. Really pleased with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes decreasing quick and easy, with one negative point *by C***C on 26 May 2026* This is the only the handheld steamer I've tried so I don't have anything to compare it too. However, I do love it as it makes decreasing my kids school shirts, as well as my work clothes much quicker! No need to wrestle the ironing board out and constantly shifting garments about, I just hang the clothes on hangers to dry straight from the washing machine, and once they're nearly dry, I steam them while still on the hangers. Having a laundry room were I can do this also helps as it's all contained to one place. I did purchase a steaming mit to help, and I would say it is a must with this tool, as before I was accidentally burning my finger quite a lot. The mit also helps to smooth out stubborn creases much quicker. Although, it is awkward using the mit, it generally makes the steaming process faster. Having owned it for several months now, my only negative comment is that this particular steamer doesn't have an automatic switch off function. There's been quite a few occasions where I've forgotten to switch it off and unplug it! If I ever have to replace it, the auto switch off after a set of amount of time would be something I'd definitely want. Regardless of the one negative point (hence giving it 4 instead of 5 stars), I'm very pleased with my purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - Philips Handheld Steamer 3000 Series, Compact and Foldable, Ready to Use in ˜30 Seconds, No Ironing Board Needed, 1000W, up to 20g/min, STH3020/16, White - Brabantia - Door Steam Blanket - Heat-Resistant Mat for Clothes Steaming - Over Door Hooks, Protective Back Layer, & Loops for Hangers - Easier Steaming with Handheld Steamers - 110 cm x 50 cm - Grey - Brabantia - Steam Clothes Hanger - Solid Surface for High-Pressure Steaming on Collars and Shoulders - Quick & Easy Results - Double-Sided Use - Versatile 360° Rotating Hook - Grey --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/319140716-handheld-garment-steamer-3000-series-20-g-min-no-burns](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/319140716-handheld-garment-steamer-3000-series-20-g-min-no-burns) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
