Plenty of room in the bottom for lunch and snacks. Keeps my food cool till midday without ice packs. It may not hold up for years but at the price I can repurchase. The straps are sturdy and the shoulder strap is removable. It was located in the front small compartment. I almost thought it arrived without it. It was vacuum packed into a tiny package.
