Product Description Milkaid aids digestion so you can enjoy the goodness of milk and dairy foods again. Being lactose intolerant used to mean giving up milk, dairy foods and the important nutrients, minerals and vitamins they provide. Milk contains vitamins A, B1, B12 & D and provides a rich source of calcium which is important to young growing bones and teeth. Lactose can also be found in various other foods and a list of those foods can be found here - you may be surprised. Milkaid Drops contain lactase enzyme, a safe natural enzyme that is usually found in the digestive system. It works by breaking down the complex milk sugar lactose, into two more easily digestible sugars - glucose and galactose. You can now enjoy milk and dairy foods again, without upset. Simply add three drops of Milkaid lactase enzyme to a pint of milk, gently shake, refrigerate for 24 hours and it is ready to use in cooking, beverages and cereals, hot or cold. Three drops will reduce the lactose by 70% which suits the large majority of people. We suggest you start by using six drops, giving 90% reduction and reduce each 'mix' until you find a level which suits you. We recommend that younger children start with 10 drops per pint giving 100% reduction - again reducing by one drop at a time. Milkaid Tablets contain lactase enzyme and are raspberry flavoured chewable tablets. Each tablet contains lactase 3000 ALU and is free from artificial flavours, gluten, yeast or lactose. Lactase enzyme improves lactose digestion in individuals who have difficulty digesting lactose. These are my favourite lactase tablets because they’re chewable, so they’re easy to take when you’re out and about. They work well for me when I take them just before having anything with lactose. The raspberry flavour is pleasant too. I’ve tried a few different ones and keep coming back to these.

These have worked wonders for when I eat ice cream, bubble tea and sour cream and chive dips due to the milk and cheese involved. However, I wasn’t too keen on the fact that I have to take two and chew it and the raspberry taste isn’t to my liking otherwise still effective.
