I combined it with a misting fan so I didn’t have to carry a full 5 gal of water. Review: The perfect 5 gallon bucket with a perfect handle. - I use this every day I’m in the garden for practically everything. It doesn’t weigh a lot but is extremely sturdy, more than any 5 gallon bucket I’ve ever seen or used. I haul everything in it, most particularly stones and large quantities of garden soil, manure, and mulch. Because it’s so sturdy, it holds heavy materials without bending, and the reason I love it so much is that despite the fact I am an 86 year old woman, that heavy-duty but silky-feeling rope handle makes it possible for me to haul the heaviest stuff with relative ease and comfort. It contrasts sharply with those dreadful thin buckets with cheap wire handles that bend and break loose and have extremely uncomfortable wooden holding points. The bucket is even beautiful, a plus I never expected to appreciate. This baby is definitely worth every penny. ## Features - Great Product ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B014VW6SXA | | Best Sellers Rank | #8,971 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #184 in Boating Equipment | | Brand | Shurhold | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (1,489) | | Date First Available | September 4, 2015 | | Item Weight | 1.71 pounds | | Item model number | 2452 | | Manufacturer | Shurhold | | Manufacturer Part Number | 2452 | | Model | 2452 | | Product Dimensions | 15 x 14.02 x 12.01 inches | | Special Features | World's Best Bucket | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Shurhold - **Capacity:** 5 Gallons - **Color:** Black - **Handle Material:** Metal,Plastic - **Item Diameter:** 12 Inches - **Item Weight:** 1.71 Pounds - **Material:** Plastic - **Product Dimensions:** 12"L x 12"W x 14.75"H - **Shape:** Round - **With Lid:** No ## Images ![Shurhold World's Best Rope Handle Bucket - 5 Gallon - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Kyb8sjWfL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Bucket. *by D***. on June 30, 2026* Exactly what I wanted. It arrived about 10 minutes ago and i went and put it in the boat. It's slightly pricey for a bucket, but i think the rope handle is a plus as it won't corrode in the salt water. ## Frequently Bought Together - Shurhold 2452 Black 5 Gallon Bucket with Black Rope Handle - The Rag Company - Premium Chenille Microfiber Knobby Wash Mitts - Perfect for Car Washing and Detailing; Scratch-Free, Lint-Free, Double-Sided, Plush, and Absorbent; Lime Green + Blue (2-Pack) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/31688987-shurhold-worlds-best-rope-handle-bucket-5-gallon-black](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/31688987-shurhold-worlds-best-rope-handle-bucket-5-gallon-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
