Lol. Just kidding I get mind tomorrow and will tell you which of these 3 different sizes comes closest **Q: does the handle get hot?** A: No, the handle doesn't get hot. It does warm up but the extra long length keeps it from getting to hot to hold. This is a great pan and I use it for everything. The clean up is amazing- nothing sticks to it. **Q: Why does All-Clad recommend using the 12" pan on a burner no larger than 7" in diameter when cooking with induction; bottom surface of the pan is ~9".** A: My guess would be that is the diameter of the stainless disc added to the bottom of the pan to make it induction compatible. **Q: Has anyone else noticed a slightly grainy feel to the cooking surface?** A: No, the surface is smooth on mine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Pan Overall But Horrendous Handle *by on Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates 27 October 2022* Performance so far after 2-3 months is very good. Nice quality and the non stick seems to be holding up well so far (will need to re-review again after 1, 3 and 5 years for true longevity).The handle is hands down the worst design on any pan I have ever seen. Extremely uncomfortable to hold, particularly when handling heavier loads. Sturdy, good flat bottom, great heat conduction, and the nonstick coating is as good as new. The one drawback: its weight can make it tricky to hold sideways when turning out food. I've used all kinds of nonstick pans over four decades of daily cooking, from expensive to cheap, and this has got to be the best one yet. Note I have never put it in the dishwasher.UPDATE: 1 year 9 months later, surface has a few tiny scratches but non-stick surface still going strong! Best performance so far of any nonstick pan I have ever used.UPDATE: Used nearly daily for three years. Then I blew it with high heat and no fat. Excellent, durable pan, but I still think the handle is awkward, given the weight of the pan.
