**Q: my arm rests are 8 in. will these fit ?**
A: Mine are also 8". It takes a little pulling but it does fit. The covers have held together quite well, since the biggest part of physical therapy is what you do after the sessions - - and they held up through two mile walks. Thanks to the covers, the nerves and muscles under my arms held up well, too.
