Scrabble CJT11 Travel Game

We took this on vacation and found it fun and easy to read. The tiles are small but the letters are big enough to see. We were afraid of using it on the plane in case we lost any letters. We it was perfect for the cabins in Alaska with no tv!

Compared with the travel edition in the past, tiles cannot be locked on the board tightly, so I advise that don't play it in any transportation, in your home or hotel is the best; but I still like the style of racks. I give 80 points for that product.

The game board is well built and sturdy, but it is too small to play easily. The board playing grid is only 6 in x 6 in (15 cm x 15 cm), and the tiles are 1 cm square, so playing is tricky. We will be returning this item for a larger game.

It is nice being able to stop in the middle of a game then pick it back up at a later day or time.Love it. The only downside is l wish it were a little bit larger.

I'm rating this five stars because I was genuinely delighted with the product when it arrived (after being dismayed reading some of the negative reviews after ordering). And I want to counteract the negative ratings. Firstly, it is compact enough to fit in a shoulder bag, which is what I wanted. The board is very durable, the plastic grid on it keeps the tiles in place. Yes it is small and yes the tiles are small and no you don't need a magnifying glass to read them nor a pair of tweezers to handle them. And yes we've played it in the car. Just be careful if the car goes over any pot holes. It's a very cute, tough, compact version that requires some minor adjustments in handling the tiles. Once that's done, it's very easy to use. Kudos to the designers who did a very smart job with this one.

The game itself is wonderful. However I ordered it 3 weeks BEFORE I left for a very long flight from Denver to Paris -- which is why I ordered it. It arrived a week AFTER my return from that trip. So. No Scrabble. There was no indication when I ordered it that it would take so long to send.

The reason why I bought this product is because I love scrabble and I was flying to Singapore (14 hours flight).The size is perfect for on a plain and it's really fun to play. However, because it's so small, sometimes it's a bit difficult to place the items on the board.If you're looking for a travel scrabble, can highly recommend this one!
