Then I wet my hands and removed the backing and could slide the film around to suit. Used a hair dryer and a squeegee (got mine from super cheap auto and it had a vinyl side) to remove the water as i went. I'm pretty happy with the result for an amateur install. Edges aren't great, but that's on me and theres enough for a couple more attempts. Can't speak for longevity, but it looks good and will protect the tank. Should mention it was 3M branded and arrived next day. Just check the size, 6 x 25 inchs isn't much, like I said, a couple goes at the tank protection is all you'll get.
