If you need a recoil pad, this one is FANTASTIC! Best recoil distribution for the money out there. I would recommend that you DO NOT STORE YOUR GUN WITH THE BUTT DOWN, RESTING ON THIS PAD! Store barrel down in safe. The pad will deform and possibly even split if left resting on it for long.
