Sunglass are a must and he needs safety glasses also so these are fantastic. Fit his head perfectly, comfortable to wear, and provide great sin protection for his eyes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, good looking, good fit for my big head *by T***X on July 16, 2013* I bought these specifically for use as sunglasses, and consider their safety ratings a large bonus.For some time I have been unhappy with the sunglasses widely available. Either they have been too flimsy and easily damaged, or they have been enormously expensive. I conducted a search for glasses that, in my opinion, provided a good cost/benefit trade, and ended up with the polarized Edge Eyewear Dakura glasses, black, with smoke lenses. I am quite pleased with the purchase.While searching for these, I found some reviews that said these were very small, even child sized. I wear a hat size of 7 5/8 to 7 3/4, and these glasses fit me well. I'm a white guy with a somewhat pronounced brow and cheekbones (an image search for "scandinavian cheekbones" turns up some people who could be my distant relatives), and these glasses fit nicely over my eye sockets, just touching my eyebrows and they touch my cheeks if I smile.From temple to temple, these have an inside distance of 13 centimeters. The ends of the earpieces measure 95mm apart when I'm not wearing them and fit snugly but comfortably. I recommend measuring a pair of glasses that fit you well, and comparing.These are dark, but not super-dark. They won't fully obscure your eyes. The polarization seems good to me, and there is not significant distortion of my vision when wearing them. There is some text printed on the edge of the lens, but I don't notice it when I'm wearing them.I've had these for a few weeks, and haven't scratched them yet, for what it's worth.Overall I am very satisfied, and I'm considering getting more of them just to have some in the car. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much better looking than the price would suggest *by D***C on November 21, 2012* These are much better looking, and better performing, than the price would suggest. As other reviewers have noted, they are on the small side, which for me is perfect (I wear a 7 1/4 size hat and these fit me perfectly). They have a matte finish that, in my opinion, makes them look more expensive than you might expect. I found that these had good visual clarity and didn't see any distortion. The glasses give very good coverage for your eyes, so these would be good on a motorcycle or with the top down in a jeep.Style wise, these compare well with my Bolle sunglasses that were closer to $70. But, no one would mistake them for Oakleys. They are a great pair for the price.
