They make them go and bounce them up and down by putting their hands under them. It's fun to mess with them for what they cost. They are somewhat easy to break though. They are just made out of basically a hard foam and if they get hit hard enough they crack. Two young boys proved they don't have the best durability ever. Nothing a little super glue can't fix so far, but there have been some incidents. With that said, they are still a lot of fun for what they cost. The kids have had a real good time with them. Hopefully they will last a little longer. You have to turn on each controller/vehicle pair one at a time. **Q: Can you easily turn it left and right? How much control do you have with the remote?** A: This is a crazy fun car for kids. That being said the front tires don't steer. The left and rigth tires turn at different speeds like a tank to turn. So its not very precise turning, it turns a little too fast to make accurate turns in my opinion. Its not built to race around a track though. It runs over everything and doesn't damage anything it hits Is a perfect kids indoor rc.
