Nice old doors but requires removing old paint to bare wood. The work to remove pain on flat surfaces goes pretty fast using expensive carbide scrappers. The time consuming part is getting paint removed from recessed and contour surfaces. These scrappers do the job. The scraping material is steel, no carbide, so the edgess of these scrappers require sharpening frequently to be effective, using a small Mill file and medium grit and fine grit oil stone.
