**Q: I read the reviews. Will these isolate "rumble" from nearby speakers, 3-4 feet away?**
A: It will help.  I use these under my CD player.  The bass produced by my speakers that are about three feet away was causing the player to skip.   The feet eliminated eliminated the skip from all but the very loudest of bass recordings.
