And I'm not going to take it anymore no matter how it is recommended for all child-bearing age women. I took it from a couple of days before my expected period, and when my period didn't come, I thought I might be pregnant so I took it more seriously. Then it turns out it was just the folic acid. I know it because my period came the second day I stopped taking this. "Experts" might say that my anxiety about being pregnant delayed my period. I suggest somebody doing an experiment, find some twins, give one folic acid, the other one candy, let both think they are taking folic acid. I wonder if anyone have done this kind of experiment, but the information you can find on the internet about folic acid, pregnancy, and delayed period are just frustrating.
