**Q: How much weight can it hold up?**
A: 10 pounds to 15 pounds

**Q: Can this be used while swimming in the ocean?**
A: I don't  know how saltwater would act on the strap / rubber over time, but I see no reason why it couldn't be used in the ocean

**Q: Is the Velcro strong enough to hold your feet on a bike pedal while peddling?**
A: Yes I believe it would.. I use mine as a backup on my bike rack... I wrap it around the wheels in case the latch comes loose

**Q: I would be using this to keep my feet on my foot plate to keep my feet from falling off my wheelchair. Is there enough velcro to secure it? Estimate?**
A: I found this product to be very useful for my purpose which is to restrict my dog from entering some rooms. This is the only product that has enough and strong velcro for this purpose. In my opinion, it will work for you too.
