After many years of trying several brands and also several replacement untits (at my cost) from the same company with no customer service I discovered the SantaMedical TEM-210. I think SantaMedical did an outstanding job in making this product available to help the people with chronic pan when the medical profession either can't help, won't help or just does not understand what a chronic pain situation can eventually do long term to the hunan mind. I liked both the Santa Medical TEM-210 and the Santa Medical customer service so much that I have purchace another SantaMedical medical device. The second device has also performed flawlsely during the period that I have had it. A final word on SantaMedical customer service. My experience led to a failure in electrical signal output just after the 30 day return policy expired. I contacted SantaMedical customer service explaining my situation and how the unit was behaving. I asked them what my options were and customer service gave an immediate response, like within an hour. They sent a reolacement unit out and it was recieved in two days............. Now, I ask you ''WHY ARE THERE NOT MORE COMPANIES LIKE SANTA MEDICAL who actually values their customers. Review: Buy the machine but buy separate electrode pads!!! - The machine works really well! I am very impressed with the machine. But the electrode pads that they send you are awful and cheap and they don’t stick. No matter what you do they do not stick. I’ve tried everything online to bring back stickiness and it doesn’t work. ! So buy the machine but make sure to buy separate electrode pads and electrode adhesive gel ! Love the machine. Overall, I'm glad I made this purchase. I purchased a tens/ems unit from my ortho after shoulder/back surgery a couple years for $600 that finally gave out. Just received this item so time will tell if it holds up but my initial review is that this unit does just as good of a job as the medical grade tens/ems unit. It's lightweight & portable (unlike medical grade units) and seems to have just as much, if not more, electrical stimulation which surprised the heck out of me for such a small unit that runs on 3 AAA batteries. The only complaint I have (maybe not so much as a complaint but something that my other device had that this doesn't) is that you're not able to sync the channels for automatic up/down of the strength so they occur simultaneously and you have to start back at 0 when you switch the modes but that's not a big deal (at least to me). Overall, I would have to say that for the price this unit is a great little trinket if your looking for a shockingly good pain management regimen (yes, pun intended) :). Update: I’ve had this unit for a little over a year and I consider it one of the best investments I’ve ever made! In a years time, using this little gadget at least 3 times a week I’m still running on the same batteries (Duracell lithium so that may explain the longevity). It’s been great for pain relief and has so many different modes in both tens and ems... there’s one for whatever you need at the moment. It’s lightweight, portable, and can be easily hidden beneath clothing for those days when you really need it at the office or on the run or whatever.
