It supports my back and my feet because most of the time when I am cooking I have on grounding slippers. The surface is sturdy, good quality of materials for comfort. The surface almost feels like a soft leather chair material quality!! It fits nice in front of the stove and the prepping counter surface to the right. I purchased a second one to go in front of my sink area as well; love that one too!! The price point was good. I didn’t want something cheap for $20 that would fall apart in a few months! I wanted something that would last and I believe these will. I would most certainly recommend these!!!

**Q: Can anyone tell me what the thickness is optimal?**
A: The 0.75” ones are thick and cushy compared with previous thinner mats I bought. Since they’re bigger they’re a bit more of a cabinet blocker and look a bit more in-your-face cushiony than the thinner ones, but they definitely feel nice. It depends on your needs, of course, but the 0.75” feels pretty great and I’ll definitely opt for the thicker mats in future purchases as well.

yes! I use it on my wood floor. The material is very soft & doesn't hurt the floor at all. It stays put & doesn't slip at all, but is also not sticky & can be moved easily. I love it on my kitchen wood floor.

Bought the chocolate colored mat for the kitchen. Feels good to stand on for extended amount of time. The mat comes rolled up and when you first place open it, it will have creases and a little wrinkled, however they will eventually disappear LIKES: Great Price Soft and comfortable Good weight Quality of material seems to be of good quality DISLIKES: I wish it was a tiny bit thicker Takes time for wrinkles to flatten out
