My camera is 7 years old, and I only had the original battery. It actually still has decent life, but any 7yo Li-Ion battery is running on borrowed time, and I wanted to be sure that I had plenty of battery life every day. These batteries actually have a slightly higher mAh (milliAmp hour) rating than the original battery my camera came with has. This means that they will each give the camera a longer runtime than the original battery did, even when new. SCORE! They actually each lasted over a day and a half of heavy use (I filled a 16GB card with 20.1MP photos and a little bit of FHD video in 6 days). The charger charged them back up pretty quickly, even in the car. I used a 2.4 amp adapter with it. The bottom line is that these are great batteries that worked well in my camera. I highly recommend them for the cameras they are designed to fit. Review: Great buy. - Quickly shipped. Quality. 2 batteries and charger. All worked perfectly in my Canon camera. A great deal. Thanks. ## Features - HIGH-CAPACITY BATTERY PERFORMANCE: Two 1800mAh high-capacity NB-6L/NB-6LH batteries and dual battery charger provide enough power for the flash or shooting equipment when traveling, helping you capture every beautiful moment - DIVERSE COMPATIBILITY: Rechargeable NB-6LH/NB-6L battery charger set fully compatible with Canon PowerShot SX710 HS, SX700 HS, SX610 HS, SX600 HS, SX540 HS, SX530 HS, SX520 HS, SX510 HS, SX500 HS, SX500 IS, SX280 HS, SX270 HS, SX260 HS, SX240 HS, ELPH 500 HS, SX170, SD1300 IS, SD1200 IS, SD980, SD770, SD1300, D30, D20, D10, IXUS 85 IS, IXUS 95 IS, IXUS 200 IS cameras, and more - SAFETY CHARGER: Input 5V/2.1A, output 4.2V/ 700mA, charge 2 batteries simultaneously, each charging slot works independently.
