It requires zero maintenance—no noise, no cords, no moving parts—and is proudly made and serviced in the USA. Trusted by healthcare professionals for over 45 years, it outperforms typical alternating pressure pads that bottom out and cause discomfort. ## Description Prodigysys overlay mattress sys.single patient use ## Features - SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE vs alternating pressure pad overlays. With an industry leading depth-of-immersion of 3.5 inches, the Prodigy will NEVER BOTTOM OUT – the MOST critical factor in pressure sore prevention, pain management and wound healing. Alternating pressure pads typically only provide a 1.5” depth-of-immersion which results in “bottoming out”- rendering them virtually useless. This is the main reason hospitals and nursing homes NEVER USE BUDGET-PRICED ALTERNATING PRESSURE PAD OVERLAYS. - 3-IN-1 FUNCTIONALITY WITH ZONED SETTINGS- The Prodigy provides professional-grade Pressure Sore Prevention, Wound Healing AND Pain Relief-all in 1 product. With 3 zones that can be customized based on the users needs, the Prodigy can be set up for OPTIMIZED comfort and healing. Head/Upper body section, Hips/Coccyx section and Leg/Foot section can all be independently set to different pressures vs. alternating pressure pads that only allow for the same pressure throughout the entire surface. - ZERO MAINTENANCE. No moving parts. No air filters to replace. No noise. No heat generation. No electricity consumption. No cords or hoses to trip over. Alternating pressure pad overlays are notorious for numerous ongoing service issues, costly replacement parts, tripping hazards, unwanted heat and noise generation and bottoming out- ALL of which are non-issues with the Prodigy. - THE #1 NAME IN PRESSURE RELIEF for over 45 years. More doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals recommended ROHO surfaces for pressure relief than any other brand. It’s no wonder that, on average, every day, there are OVER 1 MILLION USERS around the world counting on ROHO to protect their health and make their lives better. - MADE IN THE USA, Stocked in the USA and Serviced from the USA as opposed to virtually all alternating pressure pads that are Made in China. Your loved one deserves comfort, compassion, healing and pain relief in their time of need, can you afford to provide them with anything less than the very best? ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE BE CERTAIN TO CAREFULLY REVIEW PRODUCT DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO ORDERING THIS ITEM TO MAKE SURE IT WILL PROPERLY FIT THE INTENDED USER AND THE INTENDED ENVIRONMENT. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Brand | Platinum Health | | Color | Black | | Size | Twin | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Material | Foam | | Number of Items | 1 | | Manufacturer | Roho Incorporated | | Item Firmness Description | Plush | | Product Dimensions | 19.7 x 4.5 x 18 inches | | Item model number | ROPRODIGYS | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Platinum Health - **Color:** Black - **Size:** Twin - **Water Resistance Level:** Not Water Resistant - **Age Range (Description):** Adult ## Images ![Roho Prodigy Premium Mattress Overlay, Voted #1 Non-Powered Overlay. I've used one for years and have slept much better. I used to get shoulder bursitis which has never happened with this mattress topper. Occasionally you'll need to add a little air using the included pump. It shouldn't have a major leak for years unless the kids jump on it or something similar. Like any inflatable device it may eventually no longer hold air, but single sections are available so you probably won't need to replace the whole 3-section unit. Or buy 2 of these and keep 1 in reserve. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good for bed sores. *by A***R on July 29, 2019* Great for my friends daughter not great for my 100 year old mom. Better for bed sores but not if persons has pain on back. ### ⭐ Great at first but crappy and unusable 1 year later! *by P***A on June 29, 2017* UPDATE December 28, 2018 The air chambers have stretched on this pad and adjusting the air pressure no longer gives me pain relief. The air chambers go flat frequently. All the snapped elastic fasteners broke within months! I am so disappointed! $200 is a fortune on my small disability check!I bought this hospital bed overlay for pain management. For the first time in a very long time I can sleep without waking up every time I roll over! I have bursitis chronically in my hips and shoulders and I have excruciating pain when I lay on them. Then if I lay on my back, I have excruciating pain in my tailbone from a botched surgery. Now I am sleeping so much more comfortably!! Frankly, I am shocked!! This morning I had ZERO hip and tailbone pain! I am hoping it won't be much longer and the shoulder pain will calm down. ## Frequently Bought Together - ROPRODIGYSBX - Prodigysys Overlay Mattress Sys.Single Patient Use - Vive Alternating Air Pressure Mattress Pad - The Original Bed Sore Prevention Solution - Hospital & Home Mattress Topper - Includes Waterproof, Heat Resistant Ulcer Cushion Pad & Whisper Quiet Pump - 2 Pack Fitted Hospital Bed Sheets - Cotton Rich Soft Knitted Jersey Sheet 36” x 84” x 12” --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/30187094-roho-prodigy-premium-mattress-overlay-voted-1-non-powered-overlay](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/30187094-roho-prodigy-premium-mattress-overlay-voted-1-non-powered-overlay) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
