It will probably stick. But I'm sure even if you seaL it, it will bubble up because of moisture. You could try 1/8 plywood sealed. **Q: How to remove to start over?** A: Once this is applied, I don’t believe there is any way to remove it. The adhesive on the back makes permanent and is super strong. I’ve never tried this, but possibly using a clothes iron to heat the veneer softening the adhesive on the back. Although you’ll probably destroy the veneer. You might try You Tube **Q: These were working great for few weeks. Now humid &wrinkled. Are they trash now?** A: I used mine in the bathroom over some cabinets excetera. When I polyurethane with a water-based polyurethane, it bubbled up, but then settled back down I think it does fluctuate quite a bit with the humidity in terms of this but when the polyurethane dried, it was less noticeable. I was ready to tear it off.
