It offers two distinct modes—Standard for vintage authenticity and Custom for a unique vibrato sound with a special filter wave. Real-time effect depth control is possible via an optional expression pedal, making it a versatile and durable choice for professional guitarists and bassists seeking expressive modulation effects. ## Description Ahead of its time when it debuted in 1982, the vb-2 vibrato has been rediscovered by modern players looking to create unique guitar textures with stompbox effects. Thanks to its expressive, one-of-a-kind sound, this rare pedal has gone on to become one of the most valuable BOSS effects in the vintage market. Now, the progressive spirit of the vb-2 has been Reborn as the WAZA craft VB-2W. Using all-analog circuitry, the VB-2W authentically reproduces the true pitch-shifted vibrato of the original pedal, and also adds an innovative new vibrato mode and real-time control function for enhanced expression. Review: Vee Bee Too - Much like other waza pedals I have owned, this pedal feels solid and well built. It doesn’t appear to color your tone very much, which I appreciate. The vibrato effect is a nice change of pace to chorus that I have used in the past and I prefer the warble of the a vibrato than that of chorus lately. My only gripe is that I wish it could go a little bit slower. Both modes sound fantastic, while the custom mode appears to sound a little darker than the stock, or standard mode of the pedal. Here’s a couple ways I like to use it: Pair this with the DM-2w ( or other delay without modulation) to get modulated style delays. Run it before your drives or fuzz, to provide subtle movement to your sound. Put it in unlatched mode, and use the foot-switch to temporary bring vibrato in and out, to mimic using a tremolo bar or bigsby character. I love this pedal, a mainstay on my small pedalboard along some other favorites from boss. I appreciate the value and no-bs approach to boss pedals. I will continue to purchase their products. Review: Excellent Vibrato pedal for Bass - Excellent build quality and functionality. Instantly one of my favorite pedals on my Bass pedal board. Great sound quality, zero distortion or hum. I really dig the "unlatched" setting that allows control via foot press. The standard/Custom switch is a nice touch as well. ## Features - Premium Edition WAZA craft pedal delivers the ultimate BOSS tone experience - Custom mode features a totally new Vibrato sound with unique filter wave - Standard mode provides a true reproduction of the vintage vb-2 Vibrato sound - All-analog circuit with BBD (bucket Brigade) Vibrato line - Control the effect depth in real time with an optional expression pedal ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01EZ5MJLS | | Amperage | 35 milliamps | | Audio Output Effects | Vibrato | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,406 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #33 in Guitar Distortion & Overdrive Effects | | Brand | BOSS | | Brand Name | BOSS | | Color | Blue | | Connector Type | 1/4 inch (6.35mm) audio jack | | Controls Type | Knob | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 45 Reviews | | Finish Type | Painted | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00761294508657 | | Hardware Interface | 1/4-inch Audio | | Item Dimensions | 3 x 8 x 10 inches | | Item Type Name | WAZA CRAFT Vibrato Guitar Pedal | | Item Weight | 0.47 kg | | Manufacturer | BOSS | | Manufacturer Part Number | VB-2W | | Model Name | VB-2W | | Model Number | VB-2W | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Signal Format | Analog | | Style | Filter,Expression | | UPC | 764832292155 761294508657 761294510445 | | Voltage | 9 volts | | Warranty Description | Boss five-year warranty. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** BOSS - **Color:** Blue - **Item Weight:** 0.47 kg - **Style:** Filter,Expression - **Voltage:** 9 volts ## Images ![VB-2W Vibrato | Premium Waza Craft Guitar Effect Pedal with Analog Circuitry | True Reproduction of the Legendary BOSS VB-2 Vibrato | Standard & Custom Playing Modes - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71u94czbmKL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Model** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vee Bee Too *by P***E on August 23, 2025* Much like other waza pedals I have owned, this pedal feels solid and well built. The DM-2w and CE-2w also deserve consideration for this line. While all the Waza line are capable of more than most musicians needs. The DM-2w, VB-2w, and CE-2w are exceptional. ## Frequently Bought Together - Boss VB-2W Waza Craft Vibrato Pedal - Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus Pedal - Boss DM-2W Waza Craft Delay Pedal --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/29986475-vb-2w-vibrato-premium-waza-craft-guitar-effect-pedal-analog](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/29986475-vb-2w-vibrato-premium-waza-craft-guitar-effect-pedal-analog) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
