It scrapes the muscle without tearing up the skin. It's got a decent heft to it and doesn't bend even under the hardest normal pressure and so it should last a lifetime or more. I'll lose it or have it stolen before I have to order another one.The carrying case is functional but nothing that will take abuse. Use it to store it, not carry it in your pocket.The price is about what I expected. Pretty expensive for the actual materials that go into it but it's in line with other similar scrapers and for a generally superior design.The best part of it is that the product works. I recommend watching some YouTube videos to give you an idea how muscle scraping works and be sure to drag the unit toward the handle rather than push it like a knife.
