## Description

desertcart.com: LOVEHANDLE Original Universal Phone Grip - Solid Black : Cell Phones & Accessories

Review: So much better than a pop socket for playing Pokemon Go - I play a *lot* of Pokemon Go. I use my phone for an average of 10 hours a day, sometimes up to 14 (I know, I know), with a lot of thumb and finger movement, and shifting my phone from hand to hand. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 13 Pro from an iPhone XS, and my new phone is significantly heavier than my old one. I used to use a pop socket, but with the extra weight and size of my new phone, I was getting repetitive strain issues in my hands and wrists. I bought a few different grip options before I tried this one. I did have some issues, but when I contacted support they were prompt in resolving them - my package didn't come with extra adhesive, and the lovehandle came off the waxed part of the backing paper so easily that I accidentally slipped and it got stuck on the non-waxed paper, which left some small strips of paper stuck to it. They sent me new adhesive when I messaged them. That said, I was impatient and I attached the lovehandle to my phone with the messed-up adhesive while I was waiting for the new adhesive to come in the mail, and it's actually still securely attached even two months later. So kudos for that - even with some of the adhesive covered with paper, it works, haha. I've had this grip for about 2 months. It was too tight when I got it (and I have small hands and fingers), and a little rough at the edge, but it loosened and softened to a comfortable level of tightness within a few days. Two months in, it's looser now than I'd maybe like, but it actually doesn't affect my comfortable use of the phone or make it feel less secure, so it doesn't really register as an issue. It is *significantly* more comfortable to use than my pop socket - the fact that it's a low-profile and a flexible, slender (but not too slender), oblong strap/strip means that even as it loosens over time, I just sort of naturally change how I hold it and what fingers I use. It's easy and natural to quickly swap from hand to hand, or to switch finger positions. I imagine I may buy new ones more frequently than they might intend, but I do use my phone *significantly* more than average, for activities that involve a lot of unusual hand and finger movement, and it's worth it to me to spend $10 a few times a year to have a phone grip that works for me.
Review: Great, great product. - For me, the most comfortable, dependable and necessary addition for your phone. My last Love Handle lasted 2 years on my S24 Ultra. I always use the additional clear strip, because with that, the handle ain't going nowhere. Just got a new one for my S26 Ultra. It doesn't cause issues going in and out of a pocket and is super secure, even on a heavy phone. I've tried rings and pop sockets, but the Love Handle beats them all in my book.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a tech 21 pure clear case and it doesn't say what the material is other than bulletshield. anyone know the material and is it compatible?**
A: I’m pretty sure any material that is flat would work. It’s got a good grip. I use a spigen wallet case that is kinda plastic-y & it works great. Boyfriend uses a leather wallet phone case & it works on there too.

**Q: Does it have to be in the middle of the phone? Will it work if I place it off centured?**
A: No, it does not have to be in the middle. If you place it further down on the phone it is easier to text. But I would keep it centered horizontally

**Q: For those who say wireless charging works, where did you position your strap?**
A: I placed the grip approx. 1" up from the bottom of case, and that leaves approx. 1 1/2" from the top of the grip to the top of the case. I have a round wireless charger and this grip doesn't interfere with charging but I do have to fidget with my phone to find the correct spot on the charger where it will connect to charge.

**Q: Is this Magsafe compatible? Did anyone try it on the 12 series yet?**
A: On the wireless charger I have it works ok, that is, while it doesn't sit flat its profile is slim enough that the charging works fine. I do have to be sure it's sitting dead on, but it works and it's not that big a deal.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My forever phone grip brand
*by R***L on March 18, 2026*

I’ve purchased several of these over the last 4-5 years (one for each new case) and I can’t rave about them enough. Comfortable on the hand, keeps me from dropping my phone, strong, reliable adhesive. The only wear I’ve ever dealt with on the product itself is the elastic eventually getting stretched out, but it takes quite a while for that to happen. I love Love Handles and I’ll keep buying them as long as they make them!
