**Q: does the car base + stroller fit in this bag or only the stroller?**
A: Both fit in the bag.

**Q: Is this padded?**
A: No it's not, but we've used it several times and it works terrific!  We gate check it.

**Q: Would it work for a carry-on?**
A: No its to bulky.

**Q: Will the car seat base fit in bag as well? I am checking the stroller and need the base for traveling as well.**
A: I don't believe the base would fit in the bag, but you do not need the base to travel with the doona. I recommend leaving it at home. That's the beauty of the doona. You can use it without the base with just a seat belt while traveling.
