It's about an inch deep. **Q: A question for the wire skimmer (the one with smooth circles) - is it deep enough to get something larger like fried chicken with good control?** A: I think so. I use it to lift out large chicken thighs cooking in a large pot and it works very well. **Q: what is the measurement of the round part?** A: 4 1/2 inches. **Q: Are all their products really made in china??? i thought it was germany but they did the good ol "engineered in germany" (but made in china...) muhaha** A: Sadly, I believe that most of their products are. However, a few months ago I purchased their food mill which is still made in Germany. ## Frequently Bought Together - Rosle 95681 Stainless Steel Wire Kitchen Skimmer Ladle with Round Handle - Rösle 95260 Stainless Steel Round Handle Kitchen Strainer, Fine Mesh, Sifter 7.9 Inch - RSVP International International Endurance Stainless Steel Precision Pierced Colander, 5-Quart (Punch-5), Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/294011806-rosle-95681-stainless-steel-wire-kitchen-skimmer-ladle-with-round](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/294011806-rosle-95681-stainless-steel-wire-kitchen-skimmer-ladle-with-round) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
