Both, the rip fence and the miter gauge have a little play. Also the scale accuracy is just ok. Good enough for rough work. For fine work, these shortcomings can easily be overcome by making manual measurements.The user manual is ok as far as working instructions are concerned, but has no information on some critical adjustments like adjusting the blade parallel to the miter slots.
