Does this come paired with a grounding plug or does that have to be purchased separately?** A: Plug must be purchased separately. **Q: Can i take out old t12 light strip & connect the wire to this connector and then plug the replacement led light strip to this connector?** A: Not sure what you are asking. This is a replacement 110v AC extension cord receptacle. It goes on the end of an AC source wire and than you can plug in a standard 2-3 pin AC load plug. **Q: Product details says 16/3 wire, q/a says they forced a 12/3 wire into it but not easy, do you have a grounding cord outlet for 12/3 and 14/3?** A: You shouldn't have any problem putting this on a 12 gauge extension cord. This is a commercial quality female power cord end for exactly this use case. I have been able to use them on cords (all with a ground wire) as thin as 16 gauge and as thick as 12 gauge without any problem. **Q: I'd really like to put in an order but is it really true what's said in the description that it takes 1 or 2 months to deliver product?** A: When I ordered this product there were no long term delay. Unfortunately, the world we now live in is filled with delays and shortages. It could be true or they might be erroring on the side of safety. Sorry for a mixed answer. Good luck and stay healthy. ## Frequently Bought Together - Leviton 515CV-OR 15 Amp, 125 Volt, PVC Grounding Cord Outlet, Orange - Leviton 515PV-OR 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Grounding Plug, Orange - Leviton 515PV 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Grounding Plug, Yellow --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/29280454-leviton-15-amp-125-volt-pvc-grounding-cord-outlet-515cv](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/29280454-leviton-15-amp-125-volt-pvc-grounding-cord-outlet-515cv) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
