The pads are designed to be used together with protective underwear. It can be inserted in underwear. With its featured Hook-tape, the pads can be placed and removed very easily. There is a significant cost advantage if it is used together with protective underwear since you will reduce the usage of protective underwear per day.

Review: Great for protecting Depends underwear! - This product allows protection of the Depend or other incontinence wear. You can remove and replace it during the day before bath time to extend the period of dryness. My only issue is that the pad is 18 inches long. That is long, however, it is for an adult male and I need one that fits from the top front of the Depend and extends to the top back of the Depend. This one stops somewhere near the bottom. I then tried the 2400 and though it is long enough 27 inches, perfect, it does not have adhesive strips. You can purchase double sided tape to adhere it at the front and back to the Depend. I tried that and it works ok. If 18 inches is ok and you do not expect a full release more than once, these can work.

**Q: I see the booster is long, 18" concerned about fitting in a small size pull-up?**
A: They make a regular length and long length.  The regular ones are too small in my opinion but they do hold a lot of liquid.

A: Amazon stopped selling this product, had to go medical supply store and buy a case at a time. Wonderful product.

A: The pad will cover front to back. They are very long with a Velcro  strip to hold onto fabric.

These pads are well made and meet my expectations for length, width, and high absorption and preventing embarrassing situations. My only concern and the reason I didn't give 5 stars, is that the 2 tiny velcro like strips at each end are not sufficient in holding the pads in place for me as a plus size woman. It is very frustrating that the pad doesn't stay in place and inhibits my movements and comfort and I have had to resort to using pins or extra tape.
