Then, at end of summer when you take it down clean excess adhesive from frame. We use them all summer to leave door open. We also use an expanding curtain pole (just the type from cheap home ware shop) to help keep it in place, especially good if you have boisterous children or dogs. Hope this helps. Tried to upload pic but no option only video sorry. **Q: Is this product suitable for a metal door frame?** A: Yes .the tape is very strong i put mine up April and its in partial sunlight. If the door opens outwards its better .as its never in direct sunlight .its a little on the long side so it leaves a small gap at the bottom its like having a cat flap .bonus. **Q: Does the velcro strips stick to brick** A: I have only ever fixed it to the wooden surrounds of the door **Q: Can you buy the tape separately?** A: Double sided velcro tape is widely available but you don't need to use all the tape they supply just cut into 6in straps and put 4 strips down each length I would recommend these fly screens as the best on the market ## Frequently Bought Together - Magnetic Fly Screens, EGNBU Heavy Duty Door Screen, Anti Mosquito Mesh Fly Curtain with Powerful Magnets & Full Frame Magic Tape, Keep Bugs Out & Lets Fresh Air in (with Lace,90x210CM) - 4 Packs Fly Screen for Window, Insect Mesh Window Nets1.3m*1.5m, with 4 Rolls Self-Adhesive Tapes,Cleaning Brush, White - Fly Screens For Window Nets to Keep Bugs Out Mosquito Net Window Insect Screen Mesh | Cut To Size | With Impoved Mushroom Hook Adhesive Tape & Cutter --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/291824288-magnetic-fly-screens-for-doors-egnbu-heavy-duty-door-fly](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/291824288-magnetic-fly-screens-for-doors-egnbu-heavy-duty-door-fly) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
