I always procrastinated it because I have seen and heard complaints about the net sagging and tangling. It is challenging to maneuver but after moving it twice I've gotten the hang of it. You may use it in a straight line. **Q: I have only five chickens and won't to let them run out some but the length is a lot, do you have a shorter fence for a small flock?** A: We have item 208437 - 48" Electric Chicken Net listed on Amazon. It is 82 ft in length and yellow in color. We would recommend using non-conductive support posts, such as item 208055 - FiberTuff posts, at the ends, corners and major directional changes for additional support. We do have our item 207105 - 48" PermaNet Plus in 50 ft. lengths, but unfortunately it is not available on Amazon. You can see it on the Premier 1 Supplies site. **Q: in addition to fence netting and energizer is there anything else needs such as additional posts which would strengthen the fence?** A: The PoultryNet Plus does have additional posts versus our standard PoultryNet, but we do still recommend using additional non-conductive support posts at the ends, corners or major directional changes for additional support. Posts like our item 208055 - 48" FiberTuff posts, which are designed for use with our netting. **Q: Would this work for bull calves?** A: It may work when they are quite young. It is reasonably sturdy (but I'm using it for chickens), but I'd be concerned about the durability with cattle. Also, with my set-up 4 100' fences and 1 solar charger, the shock is not very strong. I'll be upgrading the charger soon.
