I refuse to travel without a reservoir or an insulated bottle, and this brand has never let me down. Currently, I have several different water bottles from this company, and I could not be more satisfied. Among them are a 25 oz and a 64 oz that I use regularly. Sadly, I recently tested positive for Cyclosporiasis, and my doctor urged me to drink as much as three gallons of water a day. One of the side effects of the disease, as well as the antibiotics, is an intense sense of fatigue. I struggled to even lift my 64 oz insulated bottle and was just barely able to handle the much smaller 25 oz, also insulated. On a whim, I looked to Camelbak for something lighter, and this water bottle turned out to be just perfect! Full of water, it's actually lighter than either of the other 2 when they are empty. This saved me a tremendous amount of pain and stress for the nearly two weeks it took for the antibiotics to provide some substantial relief. It is now my go-to bottle for home. It was a terrific value and is so easy to clean, as it's safe in the dishwasher. I purchased the clear color, and I am glad I did, as with a simple glance I can see just where I am in my quest to finish four of these a day. The drink hole size is also just perfect for me, and I truly appreciate the magnetic lid, as I once dropped it without screwing it closed and not a drop spilled. I also appreciate that the lids are interchangeable with my other bottles, making them so much easier to use.

I also use my water bottle to mix and consume pre workout drink and don’t want the hassle of keeping a straw clean. In all my research, this Camelback bottle with the magnetic cap seemed the most promising so I ordered a charcoal 20 and 25 oz size to evaluate. While the 25 oz bottle was a bit larger than the 20 oz bottle I had before, I preferred it over the 20 oz Camelback, which seemed a little top heavy with the durable cap. So I returned the 20 oz bottle and have been using the 25 oz. Camelback for over two weeks now, and I love it. It’s the perfect water bottle for my needs, and the magnetic cap is great to insure that it isn’t falling back into your face when drinking the contents. I also like how the threads of the cap are internal and not on the exposed surface of the drinking port. This was an ingenious idea. If you’re working out and don’t want to screw the lid completed down, the magnetic cap will stay in place once returned to the port, not providing a waterproof seal, but keeping out any airborne debri and essentially making it spill proof if knocked over. One thing I do recommend before using this water bottle is adding a tablespoon of baking soda to the bottle filled with warm water and letting it sit for 30 minutes or so. This will neutralize any plastic taste to the water. A concern I had before purchasing this 25 oz water bottle was if it would fit my vehicle’s cup holder as the smaller 20 oz bottle did, and yes, it fits fine. In conclusion, I find the 25oz Camelback Chute Mag water bottle to be the perfect canteen for the gym or general purposes. I love it so much I ordered a second one in case they discontinued production of this model if mine ever dies or I leave it somewhere. I still prefer to refill regular 20 oz Aquafina water bottles when hiking for a lighter, more compact option for my day pack, but this is the only instance that I would not use the 25 oz. Chute Mag.

I rarely review anything but this water bottle is perfect! It's the perfect size for me. It holds 50 ounces of water which is equivalent to 3 bottles of water. It's also very well made. It's made with thick plastic heavy duty parts. It has the perfect sized handle that's easy to hold. Both parts of the top (the large base where you fill it with water and the attached small nozzle where you drink from) have heavy duty threads that form a perfect seal so nothing spills out if you drop it. There may be some rubber parts on it. It is also dishwasher safe. It also looks nice (I got blue) and just looks well made..like a German car. No idea where it's made. Camelbak may be a German or French (or French Canadian) company because the label is written in French, German and English. Anyway it's the best water bottle I've ever used. It's a top shelf product at a bottom shelf price!
