## Features

- WORKS WITH THE COOKWARE YOU ALREADY OWN - IF A MAGNET STICKS, IT WORKS: The single biggest induction question, answered up front: any flat-bottom pan made of cast iron, enameled steel, or magnetic stainless steel will heat. Hold a fridge magnet to the base of your pan — if it grips, you're set. Compatible base diameter: 4.7" to 10.2". Aluminum, copper, glass, and non-magnetic stainless will not heat (this is true of every induction cooktop, not a defect).
- 16-STOP PRECISION CONTROL - 8 POWER LEVELS + 8 TEMPERATURE SETTINGS: Choose by wattage (200W, 500W, 800W, 1000W, 1200W, 1400W, 1600W, 1800W) for cooking style, or by temperature (140°F to 460°F) for recipe accuracy. Twice the granularity of typical 4- or 6-step portable burners — small simmers stay gentle, sears stay aggressive, and you finally get a true 'low' that won't scorch a roux.
- 4 ONE-TOUCH PRESETS + 4-HOUR PROGRAMMABLE TIMER: Hot Pot, Slow Cook, Boil, and Keep Warm presets handle the everyday work. The 240-minute countdown timer (settable in 1-minute increments) lets stews and broths run unattended — much longer than the 60- or 120-minute caps on most portable units. Pause function temporarily holds your settings while you step away. Cooktop powers down automatically when the timer ends.
- SAFETY FIRST DESIGN - CHILD LOCK, AUTO PAN DETECTION, OVERHEAT PROTECTION: Hold the lock button 3 seconds to freeze every input except off — settings stay set, kids stay safe. The unit beeps and shuts off 60 seconds after a pan is lifted or replaced with incompatible cookware. An internal cooling fan extends component life. ETL listed for standard 120V outlets — for sustained 1800W cooking, use a dedicated 15-amp circuit (best practice for any high-wattage appliance).
- PORTABLE POWER FOR RVS, DORMS, SMALL KITCHENS & OUTDOOR EVENTS: Compact glass-top design slides into a cabinet, camping tote, or tight countertop corner. No open flame, no hot coil, no kitchen-warming heat — induction transfers energy directly to the pan, so the surrounding surface stays cool and cleanup is a damp-cloth wipe. Add a dedicated burner, replace a broken stove during a remodel, or take real cooking to the RV, lake house, or tailgate.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone used this with a 5-gal pot (diameter around 15 inches?**
A: It says on the directions that the maximum pot to use is 10.2 inches. and a maximum weight of 44 pounds.

**Q: Can I use a 12-inch cast iron skillet on it?**
A: Yes I did it last night. I also used a cast iron griddle and 14 in carbon steel wok. It’s a fantastic piece of equipment.

**Q: What country is it made in?**
A: It is make in China. I just got one and it heated up 8oz of cold water on the boil setting in 55sec., I thought amazing. You have to have a magnetized pot (check with a kitchen magnet), and flat bottomed pot, as 5 of my 6 stainless steel pots were not magnetic, so didn't work, even though they were stainless steel nice pots.

**Q: Would this unit work for home brewing a 5 gallon batch?**
A: It probably would. I'd just advise you not to set it to the highest temperature for it may overheat and turn off.
