Review: Great choice for walking in winter conditions, especially ice! - These yantrax spikes are the best product for ice. I put them on my shoes at the start of the season and they stay put until springtime. They do take a bit of effort to get them on your shoes and I did not want to go through that effort to take them off and on so I dedicated a pair of boots for my winter walks. Not suitable for indoor use and they will catch on carpets and mar flooring.

This YakTrak product is easy to attach to your shoes and the Velcro strap over the top of the shoe should keep them in place.

These yantrax spikes are the best product for ice. I put them on my shoes at the start of the season and they stay put until springtime.
