This device is great for powering up devices. I no longer have that extra clutter for power to my devices. The injector does a good job with powering my device. I had no issues with devices shutting off or having poor connection. In my case, I was able to power my access point in my house without needing to run that extra wire for power. I used a cisco access point and it works great. I am unsure how well it works for other brands. It is about the size of a laptop brick. It has a status LED light and does not require any setup other than plug it in. The device does get a little warm and is scratch prone but it does the job. It makes it easier to keep your cables from being overly cluttered while providing power to your device. This did just come in a simple plastic bag rather than box. It does come with everything but the ethernet cables so be aware of that. You will need to purchase that separately.
