Definitely worth the extra money ### ⭐ *** DANGER -- NOT TO BE USED WITH SOLVENT BASED PRODUCTS!!! *** *by J***G on September 13, 2019* I bought this sprayer to use with lacquer based paverstone sealer from Home Depot called, Glaze 'N Seal. The sprayer worked great for half the job, much better than cheaper plastic sprayers I've tried. After refilling the tank and re-pressurizing, the hose suddenly exploded at the tank end sending pressurized sealer flying everywhere. Thank god I didn't get it in my eyes. Apparently the lacquer dissolved the rubber in the hose and it fell apart. Keep in mind that this sprayer is advertised as having Viton seals, and 0% plastic. Viton is solvent-resistant which would make you think the entire sprayer is as well. That, and "0% plastic" implies that this entire unit should withstand chemicals. I've used two other cheap plastic sprayers and none of them had the hose fail which tell me this product uses an unsuitable material. Who knows what other chemicals might make the hose fail as well. This unit should be built with a stainless steel braided hose that's up to par with the rest of the unit. I will also mention that paver sealing companies use cheap plastic garden sprayers as well. This is the standard way to apply these products.
