As I mentioned above, it has a gross smell when its damp on a surface, once it dries, all odor is permanently gone. It even has effect on mild smoke damaged items. It works on sports gear. It works on upholstered furniture. It works on old suit jackets. It works on carpet. We have pets, including rabbits and it has not affected them though I keep them away from the area I have sprayed until dry. I have been struggling to get a moldy orange smell out of my refrigerator for months (the orange was removed months 4 mpnths ago). The smell was so bad that it took your breath away.
