Review: 4.5 Stars: A Good Dispenser With Its Quirks (A Review From A 10-15 Year User) - This is my third purchase of a pill dispenser of this type. I have had my older ones for 10-15 years and they continue to do their job perfectly. The size of this dispenser is smaller than the originals; however, it does hold a decent amount of pills, including large pills such as supplements or vitamins. THE LID: The instructions indicate that the lid is stubborn for a while until it gets broken in. This is 100% true. You will find yourself filling the compartments via the lid latch rather than removing the lid in its entirety. Trust me, it's easier that way. If you adhere to the "first in, first out" philosophy, have a small clean container or surface to briefly hold any leftover pills. Dump the new pills in. If space permits, backfill with the remaining leftover pills. You will save wear and tear on your fingers. If you don't have a lot of hand and finger strength, this is the way to go. PILL SIZES: Do not put small pills into this dispenser. They will migrate over the dividers when pouring and get into other sections. You then have to fish them out or dump all the pills in the other section to retrieve it. Pills considered "small" are the size of furosemide (Lasix) or propranolol (Inderal). If your pill is larger than those you should be fine. CLEANING: Pills give off dust. Dust will accumulate in the sections. To clean out a section, I pour out the pills and give the section a couple of blasts with compressed air. If you want to thoroughly clean the container and/or frequently change medications, you will have to break in the lid as described to open the container for cleaning. I would suggest warm water with dish soap and wipe dry with a soft cloth or paper towel. I have never placed my containers in the dishwasher and I would not recommend it. Using the dishwasher could warp the plastic or break the lid latch, etc. Note that if you label the medications, you will have to hand-wash carefully to avoid wetting the paper labels. LABELS: The labels that come with the container are of mediocre quality. I was putting vitamins in my new container and wrote the names on the included labels using an desertcart-brand felt tip (Flair marker) pen. The ink was still wet on the label even 10 minutes later and smeared. You get one extra label. If you are prone to goofing up, I would suggest using your own labels. If you get your medications from CVS, your prescriptions will come with a printed reproduction of the medication's label. One of those tiny labels has your name and the medicine's name neatly printed out. These will stick perfectly on the outside of the container. I place them vertically and line them up with each divider. The CVS labels will generally peel off cleanly. The included labels will not. You can remove residue with alcohol (70% works best) or Goo Gone. DURABILITY/TRAVEL: These are very durable. As I said, I have larger but identical versions that I've used for 10-15 years. Pretty much indestructible if they're just going to sit on a dresser or nightstand . If dropped on a hard surface such as tile or concrete, I could see the lid latch or the tab breaking. I don't travel so I can't say how they would hold up over time under those conditions. NOISE: These things are NOISY. Very noisy. Like maracas but worse. If you are sound sensitive, need to keep noise to a minimum or have easily disturbed housemates, everybody within earshot will know when you are taking your medicine. On the other hand, if you suddenly need maracas, you're in luck. FINAL THOUGHTS: It's inexpensive, it holds a lot of medicine, and it doesn't take up a lot of space compared to pill bottles. With a little bit of care, it will last a long time. It isn't pretty or fancy, but it does its job well. You won't be disappointed.
Review: Good brand - I have had these before and decided to try a different brand. They were terrible. The pills wouldn’t stay in their slots and the lid kept falling off. I sent those back and reordered these. The lid is a little tight as some have mentioned but it does loosen up after a while. My other ones lasted for many years without any issues so I definitely recommend this brand.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Convenient multiple pill dispenser
*by T***A on October 27, 2020*

I take a lot of pills and did not like the idea of having to lug 6 different bottles in my purse. I’ve used the “Monday-Sunday” type pill holder but then every week you’d have to refill it (which won’t work when on trips, as you’d need multiple packs). One day, I finally became fed up and looked for an alternative case. I will say it looked a bit bulky and very retro, but I really do like it! It’s easy to refill and to fetch pills (turn lid and pop the cover). You can also hold a lot at a time (no need to refill so often), and the pills don’t spill into each other’s compartments. The only downside other than it being large and kind of ugly aesthetically, is that the stickers that come with it to label your pills do not last (which isn’t a problem for me since I recall what is what, but I can see it being problematic for others).
